Checkers Stop Motion

This video was our second attempt at a stop motion. Our first one had a lot of errors that we corrected in this video. The first video we tried to show the stages of a flower growing but it ended up being too complicated for our stop motion video skills. Some things we learned to do from our first attempt were making smaller moves, taking more pictures for each movement and inconsistant lighting. This video was created by putting a camera on a tripod upside down facing our checker board with a light shining directly on it. Then everytime we moved one of the checkers we snapped a picture. After the photo taking process was done, we then uploaded the pictures onto the computer, then imported them into a program called Windows Movie Maker. In this program, we put our images onto the video timeline and made them play through at a certain speed so the pictures were almost combined to make a video. Our last steps were to add music to the stop motion video then credits.
