Panography

 What is it?

Panography is a photographic technique to produce one image from several overlapping photos. This can be done by various programs including Adobe Photoshop.

Who invented it?

The method of panography was created by David Hockney. At the beginning of this idea, he used many Polaroid images of one object and arranged them in a grid layout to make one image of the object. Later he began to move the camera around the object instead.  These images are said to be greatly involved with the idea of Cubism.

How was this done?
This panography was created by uploading multiple photos into Adobe Photoshop and using the panography tools to blend all the images together to make one image.

How was this made?

This photo, unlike the one above it was created manually. First we took various pictures from different angles then uploaded then into photoshop. In photoshop I played around with different opacities then rotated the images to fit together. This method relates more to David Hockney's method.
